SPEECH , SOCIAL NETWORKS AND THE DISPUTE OF RELATIVE NARRATIVES
TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The project aims to analyze the dispute over the discourses on COVID-19 at the national level and its international influences on the speeches, significant performances and political decisions of key authorities and institutions.

The dispute would delimit two master speeches: The "negationist" who does not recognize the breadth and importance of the pandemic, and who privileges to mitigate the impacts of the economic crisis; It is the "scientific-humanitarian" that favors the care of life, defending social isolation as the best way to also ensure better coping with the economic effects of the crisis. The study contemplates the identification of the means of dissemination and reproduction of the speeches as well as their repercussion in the target audiences. It will also include a mapping of key interpretations of the future political and economic impacts of the pandemic.

In methodological terms, the study will be carried out by articulating the views of the political discourse analysis of Laclau and the Essex school with the analysis of interpretative frameworks (frame analysis).

POLITICAL DISCOURSE: STRATEGIC AND EMOTIONAL COMPONENTS

National, state and municipal elections are important moments in the political dispute in the country. Observing the political speeches of the main candidates as discursive practices allows us to better understand the role of their strategic and emotional components.

We tried to look at the speeches trying to highlight the populist component in all of them based on the theoretical framework of the political analysis of the Essex group's speech led by Laclau and Mouffe, complemented with the analysis of the frame analyzes, particularly Lakoff's contributions, Snow and Errejon Galvan.

DISCOURSE, SOCIAL NETWORKS AND NARRATIVE DISPUTE IN THE FIELDS AGRICULTURAL, AGRIBUSINESS AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENVIRONMENT
